TRYOUT INFORMATION FOR 2012 SEASON

Youth (Students entering grades 3-5 in the Fall)   

Coaches: Katelyn Donnelly, a former member of the Parkside Ranger Dance Team and Young Dance Academy competitive programs. Currently a 4 year member and Captain of the Brewers Dance Team, the Diamond Dancers.

Liz Rasmussen, a former member of the Young Dance Academy competitive programs and 4 year member and captain of the Dance Elite dance team at UW-Madison.

 A great new opportunity for those participants entering grades 3-5 who want to gain confidence in competing and improving pom and dance technique. Franklin Prep will join the Eight Time State Champion Franklin High School Pom Squad and the Five Time Badgerette Midwest Franklin Spirit Pom Squad in competitions and events.

A pre-audition clinic will be held on:  Tuesday, May 29th
6:00pm – 8:00pm at Forest Park Middle School

If you plan on auditioning you must attend the pre-audition.

Auditions will be held on: Thursday, May 31st
6:00pm – 8:00pm at Forest Park Middle School

Cost for the pre-audition clinic and the team audition is $30/Residents
                                                                                                                        $40/Non-residents

*Team selection information will be provided during the pre-audition clinic.

Those participants selected to the team must be available to practice  Monday's and Thursday's from 6-8pm through mid-August. Events the team will participate in include the Franklin 4th of July Parade, Franklin High School Homecoming Parade, Pom Camp, Franklin Pom Teams Family Friends Night Performance, and 4-5 competitions/workshops throughout the season. Information regarding time commitment and financial requirements will be distributed on the first day of the pre-audition clinic.
